Published: 16 September, 2008
DSM Melamine bv, and its affiliated companies DSM Melamine Americas Inc and PT DSM Kaltim Melamine, have announced a global price increase for all of grades of melamine which they sell, with immediate effect for spot markets, or as contracts allow.
The global price increase will be US$300-400/tonne converted to the appropriate currency.
The ongoing very significant changes in global supply/demand dynamics of the melamine market, including its upstream markets, provide the primary foundation for this price increase, says DSM.
