Gerhard Dieffenbacher, the former owner and ceo of the Dieffenbacher Group, passed away at the age of 89, on December 22, 2011. In Gerhard Dieffenbacher the company lost not only an esteemed and respected colleague but also a significant contributor to the family owned company.
Between 1950 and 1989 Gerhard Dieffenbacher managed the company which today employs as an international group more than 1700 people.
His constant energy and keen eye for future opportunities and developments over many decades together with his cousin, Albert Dieffenbacher, laid the foundation of today’s success.
His professional competence, commitment to the company, warmth of character and concern for his personnel made Gerhard appreciated not only within Dieffenbacher but also by the community and customers.
