Kronospan takes OSB plant to Russia
Published: 05 January, 2012
Kronospan is planning to ship a dismantled Canadian OSB plant to Russia, according to Euwid.
The company bought the main production equipment of the Timmins OSB works in Ontario recently. It was previously operated by Grant Forster Products, which has been undergoing insolvency proceedings since 2009.
After failing to find a buyer for the Timmins plant as a going concern, it was sold initially to industrial dismantling specialist EDS Commissioning. Ultimately, the equipment was sold on to Kronospan.
