Raute Corporation has received orders worth over €16m from CMPC Maderas SA in Chile for plywood mill equipment.
The orders comprise, among others, a state-of-the-art veneer peeling line as well as two full-automatic plywood gluing and pressing lines.
The machinery and equipment will be delivered for the expansion of CMPC's plywood mill in Mininco which was started four years ago. Raute was the main supplier also in the first phase of the mill. CMPC's target is to double the production capacity of the Mininco plywood mill up to 500,000m3/year, which would mean this mill to be one of the largest plywood mills in the world.
CMPC is one of the largest forest industry companies in South America
