New OSB plant to be constructed in Russia

LPK Partner-Tomsk, one of Russia's largest producers of MDF, is investing more than €150m in the construction of a plant for the production of OSB.

Construction is scheduled to begin Q1, 2012 and the plant is expected to reach its capacity by the end of 2014, with an annual sales volume of more than three billion rubles (US$90m).

The new plant will create more than 400 jobs.
