Egger installs Steinemann sander
Published: 23 August, 2010
Due to the modernisation of its particleboard line in 2009 in Brilon, Germany Egger decided to replace its 20-year-old six-head sander Nova-S by the new Satosplus 22 KK-NNN with 10 sanding heads.
With the new Satosplus, a total of three sanding machines (22 sanding heads) have now been installed at Egger Brilon.
The Satosplus is the latest development from Steinemann Technology: a wide belt sanding machine which is said to feature many innovations with easy handling. Another Satosplus 28 K-KK-NNN-S (14 sanding heads) is scheduled to be installed in November 2010 at Nelson Pine Industries, New Zealand.
