New publications on structural plywood and glulam standards

APA – The Engineered Wood Association of Tacoma, Washington, has announced two new publications on structural plywood and glulam standards.

The new Voluntary Product Standard, PS 1-09 Structural Plywood brochure replaces Voluntary Product Standard PS 1-07 Structural Plywood, and provides expanded and updated national standard requirements for producing, marketing, and specifying plywood for construction and industrial uses.

The new version includes revisions that address thickness and labelling in order to comply with national labelling requirements. The brochure is also available as a free downloadable PDF.

In addition, APA has published PRG-305, Performance Standard for APA EWS Stock Glulam Beams. This is a newly released standard and is only available as a downloadable PDF.
