Successes and award for Schattdecor

Schattdecor AG has again taken part in Moscow’s Interkomplekt/Interzum exhibition of furniture production components and materials.

This year the Thansau, German-based decor paper printer placed 39 furniture decors on show, including 10 with a foil finish.

Four-metre high showpiece walls displaying Wallis Plum, Coimbra and Virginia Walnut II was a particular feature of the company’s centrally located 120m2 booth.

Schattdecor has also announced that it is now active in Greece with a new agent Raptopoulos SA of Thessaloniki.

“We have been selling our decors in Greece for a number of years and are undertaking this step to exploit newly emerging market opportunities,” said South Europe export manager Andreas Bruckbauer.

At the Arena Design event in Poznan, Poland Schattdecor received an award for Giant Wood from its Digital Vision collection of digital-print decor paper studies.

Design manager Claudia Küchen accepted the distinction in the Furniture Accessories and Interior Design category from the internationally renowned New York designer Karim Rashid.
