Reducing emissions to lowest levels
Published:  29 May, 2007

Hexion Specialty Chemicals Inc announced at Ligna the worldwide launch of EcoBind, the brand name for its family of resin technologies designed to reduce emissions from wood products to the lowest possible levels.

"EcoBind resin technologies have been used in North America with great success since the product line was first introduced in 2006," said Peter Loscocco, vice president of public affairs with Hexion.

"Hexion has been a leader in improving resin technologies to reduce emissions by 80 to 90% since the early 1980s and EcoBind resin technologies represent the next generation of solutions for meeting the demand for ultra-low emitting wood products," he continued.

EcoBind is said to help customers meet or exceed the most stringent global emission standards, including E1, E0, Super E0, F*** and F****.
