Sunds MDF to supply dryer and sifter to Berneck, Brazil

Sunds MDF Technologies has been selected as a supplier of equipment for a new production plant to Berneck SA in Curitibanos, Santa Catarina. The plant is to produce MDF and is scheduled for start-up in second half of 2011.

The delivery includes dryer, Z-sifter and the innovative EVOjet system for dry resin blending. In addition the scope of supply includes process automation for Sunds systems and equipment, as well as engineering services, and start-up supervision.

This is Berneck’s second dryer and sifter from Sunds. The first dryer and sifter were supplied to the Araucaria MDF/HDF plant and at that time supplied under the Metso banner.
