China particleboard industry is developing fast
6 March 2018According to statistics from the China National Forest Products Industry Association, China completed six new particleboard production lines in 2016, adding new production capacity of 715,000m3 annually.
By the end of 2016, China had nearly 320 particleboard factories operating 337 particleboard production lines in 24 different provinces and regions, with an annual production capacity of 20.8 million m3, which represented an increase of 5.4% from 2015.
In 2017, China had 43 new particleboard production lines under construction, bringing the annual capacity to 8.48 million m3. [A full report is available from the International Wood Markets Group; www.woodmarkets.com]
